Seniors who are interested in taking the ASVAB can sign up with their English teacher. The test will be given on Friday, October 30th at 7:30 AM. The ASVAB provides students with career exploration information, can help some students earn Ready Graduate status, and may be needed for students who wish to enter the Armed Services. Virtual students can email [email protected] in order to sign up. All students must sign up by Wednesday, October 28th in order to participate.

Seniors-

This month, TSAC is offering a weekly FAFSA webinar series. Each Monday, they will host a FAFSA Line-by-Line webinar at 6PM CT for students and families seeking a walkthrough of the FAFSA. These webinars will go over the entire application, from start to submission. On Fridays, TSAC will host FAFSA FAQ Fridays at 11:30AM. These webinars will provide students and families with a forum to ask questions about the FAFSA.  In order to participate, students and families must register here.

The Hawks Football Team fell to Lipscomb Academy on Thursday, October 8 by a score of 21-48.

Congratulations to the RHS Lady Hawks Volleyball Team who placed 2nd in the District Tournament against CHS on Friday, October 9, 2020.  Both teams will advance to Regionals.

School Pictures

Underclassman picture retake day is October 20, 2020.  Traditional students will take their pictures during the day.  Virtual student picture retakes will take place after school on October 20, 2020 at Rossview High School.  Virtual students are to enter the building through the Activities Entrance.  Your student’s time to report and have his/her picture taken is as follows:

9th grade-3:00 p.m.

10th grade-4:00 p.m.

11th grade-5:00 p.m.

The makeup ACT for seniors who missed the initial test will be held on Tuesday, October 20^th at RHS. The test will start promptly at 7:30 AM. Traditional students will be notified of their assigned testing room by their teachers on Monday. Virtual students will report to the library on Tuesday until 7:30 AM when they will be dismissed to an assigned testing location.

Seniors-There will be a virtual visit Monday following fall break with APSU at 10:20 during enrichment for students interested in meeting with the college rep about admissions, scholarships, campus life and more.  Click on the link in your ACT Google classroom to join.
