FAFSA Workshop at RHS Friday 2/26

Friday, February 26, 7:30-3:30, parents and students are invited to drop by the RHS library to complete 2021-2022 FAFSA.  A TSAC representative will be available virtually to assist as the TN Promise FAFSA completion deadline is Monday, March 1.  Necessary information and documentation in order to complete the FAFSA is listed on RHS FAFSA flier.

1st Round of Basketball District Tournament – RHS v. Kenwood (Monday, 2/22)

Rossview High will host both boys and girls basketball District Tournament on Monday, February 22.  Both boys and girls will be playing Kenwood.  The girls will play at 5:30 p.m.  The gym will be cleared out and  then the boys will play at 7:30 p.m.

Wyatt Roder Named MVP of the Latin 2 Tournament Hosted by Duke University

On Saturday, February 13, Duke University hosted a virtual certamen event open to Latin clubs around the nation. In certamen, teams of four compete in a quiz game covering Latin, mythology, Roman history/culture, and more. Rossview’s Wyatt Roder entered alone and was paired up with one other student from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in Florida. Despite being outnumbered and total strangers, the two of them took first place in the Latin 2 tournament, beating national powerhouses Northside College Prep and Brookfield Academy in the finals. Additionally, Wyatt was named the MVP of the Latin 2 tournament.

Zac Duessler Wins Region Tournament and Advances to State

Congratulations to Zac Duessler who won the Boys Region Tournament  on Saturday February 13 and qualified for the State tournament in Chattanooga on February 20-21.

Rossview Basketball v. Springfield

The Boys and Girls Basketball Teams played Springfield on Friday, February 12.  Congratulations to the Lady Hawks who won by a score of 70-30.  Unfortunately, the boys lost by a very close score of 48-51.
