Congratulations to our Senior basketball players, cheerleaders and dance team who were recognized at the basketball game against Henry County on Tuesday, November 24.  The Boys beat Henry County by a score of 76-73.  The girls fell short by a score of 29-49.

Just a reminder that Tuesday, December 1 is the deadline to sign up for the TN Promise Scholarship.  If you need any assistance with this application, please contact your guidance counselor.

Attention sophomores-Are you a natural leader who wants to make a difference in your school and community?  If so, then the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Program Virtual Leadership Seminar may be for you!  The virtual leadership seminar will be June 5 and June 6^th.  If you are interested in applying, please see the details and  information available through your sophomore English class.  Applications are due to Mrs. Shuman in guidance no later than November 30^th at 8:00 am.  Any questions, please see or email Mrs. Shuman in guidance.

If you need assistance completing the FAFSA, plan to drop in for our FAFSA workshop in the RHS Library on Tuesday, November 17, between 5:00-6:30pm.  Student computers are required and the required list of documentation can be found on this link.

Under the direction of Mrs. LuEllyn Wilcox, the RHS Playhouse presented “A Christmas Carol” a radio play on November 12-14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the RHS Theatre.  The cast and crew were amazing.

 With the support and encouragement of Dr. Schanda Doughty and Rossview administration, the RHS Playhouse is able to provide safe procedures under CDC guidelines in presenting “A Christmas Carol: A Radio Play” for the public directed by LuEllyn Wilcox.   The beautiful radio play will be presented on November 12, 13, and 14 at 7:00 p.m. for the public.  The theatre will be open for seating at 6:15 each night with pre purchased tickets.  Temperatures will be taken at the door.  Please wear masks and tickets will be available to purchase on the GO FAN app with the following link:

The state extended the deadline for the TN Promise to December 1.  If you have not yet applied for the TN Promise Scholarship and you would still like to, please go to TN Promise.

The next step in the TN Promise timeline is to complete the FAFSA (https://fafsa.ed.gov/), the application for financial aid.  All students who are planning to attend college next year must complete this application and TN Promise applicants must complete it by February 1.  A representative from TSAC will be available to assist you and your student through this process on November 17, at our drop in FAFSA Workshop in the RHS Library, between 5:00-6:30pm.  Student computers are required to attend.

This month, TSAC will continue offering a FAFSA Line-by-Line webinar on Mondays at 6:00 PM CT and Wednesdays at 11:30 AM CT for students and parents seeking a walkthrough of the FAFSA.
