RHS Skills Club Places 1st In District Skills Competition

Congratulations to RHS Skills Club, sponsored by Joseph (“Bubba”) Cherry, who WON 1st place overall in the district skills competition Thursday, March 31.  The Cub won in 3 different events and placed in all events except plumbing which we didn’t enter. RHS Hawks are very proud of these students and the RHS Skills Club.

RHS Track Teams compete at the “West Creek Ribbon Race”

Congratulations to our Lady Hawks Girls’ Track team who finished 5th out of 14 teams at West Creek, and our Boys’ Track team finished 7th out 15 teams.  Go Hawks!

Baseball: Congratulations to our baseball team who beat LaVergne 19-1 and Summit 9-2 to go 4-0 the weekend of March 25-26, 2022.

Wrestling Recognition “Sammy Shires and Zahara Williams”

Sammy Shires officially became a high school All-American by placing 7th at the 2022 High School Wrestling National Tournament in Virginia Beach. Over the 3 day tournament he went 6-2, beating an Ohio state medalist, KY state finalist, and state champions from Vermont, Georgia, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Sammy becomes the 1st male high school wrestling All-American in Rossview history and only the 2nd Senior High School All American in the history of the city of Clarksville (Matt McMarty is the only other- 2000 CHS).

Zahara Williams placed 5th in the girls 235 division and earns All-American status as well. She was 1 of only 2 girls from the state of TN to earn All-American (Trinity Lynn-Gibbs- 2nd at 185).

Baker’s Dozen wins 1st Place at THSSDL District II One Act Play Competition

BAKER’S DOZEN won 1st Place at the THSSDL District II One Act Play competition!  Jaden Edwards received Best Actor and AnnaLee Casto won Best Actress. Rafael Kenney and Jake Schwankhart were selected for  All-Star cast. We are so proud of every member of our cast and crew!  They will compete at the THSSDL State competition in late April! A big thank you to Mrs. Wilcox for her leadership, determination, and vision!
