RHS Speech & Debate Team sponsored by Pollyanna Parker had a great THSSDL (Tennessee High School Speech and Drama League) State Tournament!    The Interpreters Theatre (Brian Oh, Owen Perrin, Saky Nguyen, Patrick Clapsaddle, Piper  Vail, Carlie Viray and Trinity Boase)  made finals out of fourteen teams and placed 6th.  Piper Vail won the state championship in Congressional Debate.  Patrick Clapsaddle placed 3rd in Extemporaneous Speaking;  Trinity Boase placed 6th in Poetry Interpretation. Congratulations to all these students and Mrs. Parker for all their hard work.

Congratulations to the following students in the Academy of Media Arts and Technology for their energy-efficient solutions for the district wide Nyrstar Challenge.  Layla Young, Joshua Bishop, and Serena Rands placed 2^nd , winning $1750 in cash.  Jonathan Quarles, Dillan Hart, and Anna Kapinga placed 5^th, winning $1000.  April is the Month of the Military Child.  RHS students and staff celebrated our military students with a small reception before school in the front lobby on Thursday, April 14.   These students were given stickers so that we could thank them for their sacrifice and know who those students are.
