Freshman Orientation at RHS was held on July 30 and 31 for the 2019-20 school year.  As always it was alot of fun and a great turnout.  This is the biggest Freshman class ever at RHS.

An information briefing has been scheduled for students interested in going to college; interested in an Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corp scholarship; and/or for those students interested in attending a prestigious military college. Please plan to attend either Aug. 19 or Aug. 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CMCSS Central Services South location on 1312 Highway 48/13. The meeting will be held in Hickory Room A Conference Room. Parents are encouraged to attend.

RHS Student Parking Pass Applications are available to pick up starting Wednesday, August 7^th, in the Main Office, the SRO’s office, or in the Cafeteria during lunch.  A parking pass costs $20.00 payable either by cash or check made out to Rossview High School. Students will need to show proof of driver’s license, registration, and up-to-date insurance.  Parking passes will be sold on the following days.

August 13: All students in an HONOR SOCIETY & FRESHMAN CAPSTONE MENTORS

August 14: Seniors

August 15: Juniors

August 16: Sophomores

August 19: EVERYONE must park in assigned spaces.

A big thank you to ASG student representatives who volunteered their time on Monday, July 29th, to keep the RHS campus clean by picking up trash.

Freshman Focus Camp

Information

Freshman Focus Camp will be held at Rossview High on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 30 and 31^st from 9 am. to 12:30 pm.  Attending Freshman Focus camp will help prepare your 9^th grade student for high school and ensure they have a successful transition from middle school.  Bus transportation will be provided from three designated locations which are:

in front of Montgomery County Public library on Pageant Lane at 8:00

in front Burt Elementary School on Bailey Street at 8:15

at the playground area in the Bell Crossing neighborhood at 8:40.

Any 9^th grade student at Rossview is eligible to ride the bus to and from these designated locations.  The bus will pick up students at these three locations and return to the same points between 12:40 and 1:10 both days.  If students are being dropped off, they should enter the building through the Activities Entrance for this event.

Class of 2023 t-shirts will be on sale during Freshman Focus Camp for only $15.  Please bring cash or check.  This will be the only opportunity to purchase shirts.

There will be parent information meeting in the cafeteria on Tuesday the 30^th at 9:00 that will last approximately 30 minutes.  We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2023 to Rossview High School as we continue the Pride, Tradition and Excellence.

Congratulations to all our 2019 Seniors who graduated on May 24, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Austin Peay State University Dunn Center.

Congratulations to Malena Gatewood who signed a track scholarship with APSU on May 21, 2019.

The RHS Boys Soccer team lost at the State Tournament against Brentwood by a score of 4-1 on May 21.  The Soccer Team had a phenominal season and Coach Chartrand will be missed as he is retiring.  We wish him all the best.

The Rossview  Boys Soccer Team beat Collierville  by a score of 2-1 on May 18, 2019 at RHS.  The Team is now headed to State where they will play Brentwood Academy in Brentwood on May 21 at 7:00 p.m.
