PSAT Scheduled for Thursday, October 29

 

The PSAT will be held on Thursday, October 29th at RHS for 10th and 11th grade students who signed up. The test will start promptly at 7:30 AM and will finish at approximately 11:00 AM. Traditional students can ask any of their teachers for the location of their assigned testing room. Virtual students will report to the library on Thursday until 7:30 AM when they will be dismissed to an assigned testing location.

Seniors-
Today is the last Monday that TSAC will be hosting the FAFSA Line-by-Line webinar at 6PM CT for students and families seeking a walkthrough of the FAFSA. This webinar goes over the entire application, from start to submission. In order to participate, students and families must register here.

Seniors – Interested in Taking the ASVAB

Seniors who are interested in taking the ASVAB can sign up with their English teacher. The test will be given on Friday, October 30th at 7:30 AM. The ASVAB provides students with career exploration information, can help some students earn Ready Graduate status, and may be needed for students who wish to enter the Armed Services. Virtual students can email [email protected] in order to sign up. All students must sign up by Wednesday, October 28th in order to participate.

FAFSA Webinar Series

Seniors-

This month, TSAC is offering a weekly FAFSA webinar series. Each Monday, they will host a FAFSA Line-by-Line webinar at 6PM CT for students and families seeking a walkthrough of the FAFSA. These webinars will go over the entire application, from start to submission. On Fridays, TSAC will host FAFSA FAQ Fridays at 11:30AM. These webinars will provide students and families with a forum to ask questions about the FAFSA.  In order to participate, students and families must register here.

The Hawks Football Team fell to Lipscomb Academy on Thursday, October 8 by a score of 21-48.

Lady Hawks Volleyball place 2nd in District Tournament

Congratulations to the RHS Lady Hawks Volleyball Team who placed 2nd in the District Tournament against CHS on Friday, October 9, 2020.  Both teams will advance to Regionals.

REMINDER: School Picture Retake Day October 20

School Pictures

Underclassman picture retake day is October 20, 2020.  Traditional students will take their pictures during the day.  Virtual student picture retakes will take place after school on October 20, 2020 at Rossview High School.  Virtual students are to enter the building through the Activities Entrance.  Your student’s time to report and have his/her picture taken is as follows:

9th grade-3:00 p.m.

10th grade-4:00 p.m.

11th grade-5:00 p.m.
