Key club is hosting a Spirit Week of April 5-9 to get ready for EOC’s.  Each day is testing themed and students(and teachers/staff) have the chance to win prizes!  Those caught with “spirit” may be given a ticket to enter into a drawing for prizes, winners will be announced on Friday, the 23^rd.  Tickets can be turned into Mrs. Bowers, room C101, on the math hallway.  Let’s get in the spirit and have a little fun to prepare!

April is the Month of the Military Child.  On April 23, students will be wearing patriotic colors to celebrate. Stickers created by our Digital Arts students will be passed out to celebrate the month of the Military Child.

Over the weekend, Harvard Classics Club hosted a virtual certamen (Latin quiz bowl) tournament for schools across the nation. Rossview’s Latin 2 “team” composed only of Wyatt Roder competed in a field of 30 teams of up to four players. After the preliminary rounds, Wyatt was seeded 3^rd going into the semifinals. He made it to the finals and ultimately finished in second place, earning the MVP award for the fourth straight tournament.  Congratulations Wyatt for your amazing accomplishments and to your sponsor Mr. Ryan Vinson.

Seniors:  The Kenna Robards Memorial Scholarship will award $1000 to an RHS senior pursuing a degree in education. Applications are available in the guidance office or the link below and are due April 16^th in the guidance office.

The RHS Soccer Team took on West Creek by a score of 8-1 on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.  Go Hawks!

The Rossview Boys Tennis Team played Springfield away on Tuesday, March 23.

The Lady Hawks Softball Team played Springfield on Monday, March 22, 2021.  The score was 0-11.

Seniors!  The Joshua Lee Plocica Memorial Scholarship is now available.  Josh was a RHS graduate who gave his life serving our country in Iraq.  This $5000 scholarship will be given in his honor to a Rossview college bound senior who exemplifies someone who is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty.  Applications available in the guidance office and on the RHS scholarship page.  Apps due by April 8^th at 2:30 pm.

Congratulations to the RHS Baseball team who defeated Henry County on Monday, March 22 by a score of 11-1.
