Softball Tryouts August 2 and 3 & Information to Know

2021-2022 Softball Tryouts 

Softball try-outs will be August 2nd & 3rd from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Registration will begin at 5:15PM on August 2nd at the Rossview High School softball field. Students should bring all equipment, cleats, and water. Attendance is expected on both days. his is a closed tryout. All students are required to complete a physical for school sports. You can learn more about required sports physicals through the Rossview High School website under Hawks Athletics and Sports Medicine. If there is a conflict in schedule, please contact Head Coach Marcus Ratcliff before August 2nd.  We understand this is a change in the try-out schedule so please help spread the word.  We look forward to seeing all of you on the field.

New Rossview High School Softball Coaching Staff 

Head Coach Marcus Ratcliff has been coaching at an elite travel level for several years and brings knowledge and passion for the game, which will provide the program with standardization, consistency, and elevation for years to come.

Assistant Coach Bailey Vincent was a Kansas high school softball back-to-back State Champion and received All-State honors. Coach Bailey was a 4 year starter, received All-MAIA honors, and received her degree in Health and Human performance with an emphasis in Sports Management at Fort Hays State University. She has played and coached at an elite travel level, holds a Personal Training certification, and is completing her certification in Strength & Conditioning.

Assistant Coach Holly White played softball in high school and continued to play co-ed softball in college and beyond. Coach White is best known at Rossview High School for teaching Psychology, Sociology, and leading the district in high-quality content and top scores for AP Psychology. Coach White’s goal is to support the softball team on and off the field through administrative management, fundraising, and team member support in school.

RHS Stadium Athletic Field Beautification Saturday, July 10

Please volunteer and get involved in beautifying our Rossview High School Stadium Athletic Field areas to get ready for the 2021-22 School Year.  LifePoint is graciously coordinating the Serve Project on Saturday, July 10th. We will need at least 50 people to complete this project successfully. 14 JROTC Graduates for RHS Class of 2021

The JROTC Program is proud to celebrate the graduation of fourteen of our Battalions Cadets who are members of the RHS Class
of 2021. Graduation Ceremonies were held on 27 May 2021 in APSU’s Dunn Center Arena. Congratulations to Sierra Martin, David

Cadet Captain Kaden Santos Completes Eagle Scout Project

Congratulations to Cadet Captain Kaden Santos who has completed his Eagle Scout Project and presented it to the Rossview High School JROTC Program. The Knot Board reflects all the knots that cadets in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System learn and utilize as members of JROTC.  This training board shows how to tie each knot in a step by step method that will be utilized by cadets throughout the district during the school year and at the annual JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Summer Camp.
