The PSAT/NMSQT is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which students may take as a sophomore or junior. High enough marks on the PSAT/NMSQT as a junior can help a student earn a National Merit Scholarship, which can mean money for college.  The optional test is given online this year.
