A lot has been going on! Here are a few updates:

CCR Week

Last week was Career and College Readiness Week. Students spent time thinking about their after-high school choices: college, the workforce, the military, etc. We held a Career Planning Event here where students received information about various non-college avenues they could take after graduating.

Seniors also had opportunities to tour MTSU, APSU, NSCC, and TCAT.

JROTC

Congratulations to the JROTC Fitness Team, which is led by Cadet Captain Kayleen Corona and coached by CSM Conner. During the recent Red River Brigade Fitness Competition, the team took 1st place in the COED and ALL-Female Categories. They also took 2nd place in the All-Male Category.

Additionally, the JROTC Adventure Team finished 2nd at the Northeast High School JROTC Raider Competition on 23 SEPT 23. The Team Captain is Cadet Captain Kayleen Corona and is coached by CSM Conner.

Hawks Football

Let’s show Hawks Football some love: they are making school history with four consecutive wins by shut-out victories. They have also scored 133 points in region play and given up 0! Come out and support them this Friday, 9/29, as we face Dickson County in our Homecoming game! Go Hawks!

September is a busy month and we have been so proud of everything that our students and faculty are doing!
