Coach Slaughter’s Fire Science classes have been discussing “Roles & Responsibilities” of the fire department.  Coach Slaughter arranged for multiple trucks from Ladder 12 (Industrial Park) to come to RHS so that students could get hands-on experience.  Station 12 helps provide support to the Rossview complex. Students were allowed to explore all the trucks and ask the fire personnel questions about what they do and how long they have been doing it. This was an awesome experience for our young Hawk firefighters to be.

RHS played their rival CHS for the “Warfield Shield” on Friday, September 2.  Unfortunately RHS fell short by a score of 35-10.

Linked below is the credit recovery contract and schedules for Fall 22-23. Credit recovery will begin on September 12th.  Credit recovery is for any student who failed a core academic course and wishes to make it up.  Math and Social Studies will meet on Mondays and Tuesdays while English and Science will meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Students can return contracts either to the teacher they are making up the course for or they can bring to guidance.  If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Wiseman or set up an appointment with her.
