Tennessee State High School Speech and Drama League Competition

The cast and crew of BAKER’S DOZEN by Pat Cook, the Rossview Playhouse spring competitive one act play, won 1^st place at the Tennessee High School Speech and Drama League State Competition held at Northeast State Community College April 21-23.  AnnaLee Casto won Best Actress, and Rafael Kenney, Jaden Edwards, Jake Schwankhart, and Allison Wells all were named to the State All-Star Cast.  The students successfully defended their State 1^st Place title from the last in-person competition held in 2019 where they also won Best Actor along with several named to the State All-Star Cast.  The Rossview Playhouse is directed by LuEllyn Boyer Wilcox who is finishing her 33^rd year as a teacher and theatre director in CMCSS.  Mrs. Wilcox stated that she was proud of the endless hours the cast and crew worked to receive such a great honor for their school and district.
