Seniors-The TN Scholars deadline is March 19. Please use the application packet found in the seniors link of our RHS school counseling webpage. This complete packet should be turned in to Mrs. Underwood by Friday.

Sophomores and Juniors: The 2021-22 Mayor’s Youth Council Application is Now Available
Sophomores and Juniors: The 2021-22 Mayor’s Youth Council application is now available. If you would like to apply to be a part of the city’s youth council, the application is due by April 1st. Attn: Seniors: Clark Johns-Joe Stephens Memorial Scholarship
Attention Seniors: The Clark Johns-Joe Stephens Memorial Scholarship will award $1000.00 to a local student for college. Applications are due by March 31st and are available in the guidance office. See the RHS counseling scholarship page for more info.

TN Promise FAFSA Deadline Has Been Extended to March 15.
Seniors, due to widespread technical difficulties experienced by students over the last two weeks when attempting to complete the FAFSA, the TN Promise FAFSA deadline has been extended to March 15. Please get your FAFSA submitted.

TSSAA Boys Wrestling Championship
The RHS Wrestling team finished its season strong; 2 individual boys placed in the top 4 of their weight class at the TSSAA State Wrestling Championship. Zack Duessler placed 4th in the state at 182 lbs. and Sammy Shires placed 3rd in the state at 132 lbs. He is now a 3 time state medalist.

TSSAA Girls Wrestling Championship
The RHS Lady Hawks Wrestling team finished strong with 3 girls placing in the top 4 of their weight class at the TSSAA State Wrestling Championship. Jamya Brewer placed 4th at 190 lbs. Alyssa Adamo placed 3rd at 160 lbs. and Justina “JT” Nikolao finished as the STATE CHAMPION at 215 lbs.

Attention Seniors: Alpha Kappa Alpha Minority Scholarship
Attention seniors-The Alpha Kappa Alpha Minority Scholarship will award 2 scholarships of $1000 to Montgomery County students. Applications are due March 12th and are available in the guidance office or by emailing Mrs. Shuman in guidance. See RHS scholarship page for more details.

Boys Basketball District and Regional Tournaments
Congratulations to the RHS Boys Basketball Team who had a great season. In the District Tournament, the boys defeated Kenwood High by a score of 59-45 and defeated CHS by a score of 59-53. They fell short to Northeast by a score of 56-59. In the Regional Tournament, the boys lost to Station Camp by a score of 29-36 on 2/29.
