Dr. Braem is entering his eighth year with CMCSS. Before making the transition to administration, he served as the Director of Theatre at Northwest High School for 7 years and a year as a high school CDC teacher in Kentucky. He has also taught at Arizona State, APSU, MTSU, UT Martin, and NSCC. He earned his EdD in Educational Leadership, MAT in Teaching, and BS in Theatre from APSU. Dr. Braem earned a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from Arizona State and a Certificate in Theatre for Young Audiences for Youth with Complex Disabilities from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance and Oily Cart Theatre in London, England. Dr. Braem has worked with individuals with complex disabilities for more than 25 years and is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to Rossview as the special population administrator. He lives in Stewart County with his husband, Rick, and their adorable, 3-year-old daughter, Alexis.
