P R E P A R A T I O N & P A R T I C I P A T I O N
Enter and leave the room like ladies and gentlemen. DO NOT
start packing up your belongings until told to do so by the
teacher. DO NOT leave until dismissed by the teacher (not
the bell). DO NOT LINE UP AT THE DOOR.
Prepare daily items before class (sharpen pencils, get out
homework, throw trash away, etc.). The teacher may not
allow you to complete some of these tasks once class has
begun.
A B S E N C E S
It will be the student’s responsibility to see the teacher
about missed work upon the day of return to school. This
work must be completed within an equal number of days
as the absences If you miss a quiz or an exam, it is your
responsibility to make arrangements with me to schedule
a make-up time. If the student does not appear for any
make-up appointment or fails to turn in work on time a
grade of zero will be assigned.
***Please Note*** If an assignment for a test/quiz was
assigned before the absence, the student is still
responsible for it upon his or her return. Also, any student
attending a school function away from school must see
the teacher before leaving to get his or her daily
assignment(s). There will be no time extensions for these
students or their assignments.

B E H A V I O R & A T T I T U D E
When asking questions or making comments, raise your hand at an appropriate time. DO NOT interrupt. The student will ALWAYS answer the teacher respectively.
No FOOD, DRINK, GUM, CANDY, LOTIONS, COSMETICS, or other distractions.
Any material deemed inappropriate or distracting will be confiscated.
At no time are students allowed to tap pencils on, beat
their hands on, or write on the desks.
Book bags and other student items should be stowed
under the desks, not in the aisle ways
SLEEPING, NOTE PASSING, AND UNPRODUCTIVE
TALKING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED & ENFORCED!
When announcements are made on the intercom you
should IMMEDIATELY become silent and pay attention to what is being said.
No talking or attempts at cheating during a test or quiz.
Even suspicious behavior could result in a grade of “0.”
No student will be allowed to leave the room except in
cases deemed an emergency by the teacher and will not be readmitted to class without a signed note. This
includes trips to the BATHROOMS and LOCKERS. This should be taken care of before or after class time. The student must have their planner to use the bathroom.
